Getting started with Handoff

Handoff: Order Assignment gives every Shopify order an owner. Pick someone on the order page, or for many orders at once, and they get an email and a list of what's theirs to do.

1. Install Handoff

Install Handoff from the Shopify App Store. Once it's installed, it appears under Apps in your Shopify admin.

2. Start your free trial

Handoff comes with a 14-day free trial, then costs $6.99 USD a month, billed through Shopify.

3. Build your team

Staff are added to your team automatically when they open Handoff. You can also add anyone else by hand.

4. Add Handoff to your order page

Open any order, click + App block at the bottom of the order page, choose the Handoff block and pin it. It then shows on every order for your whole team.

5. Assign your orders

Pick an assignee on the order page, or select up to 50 orders in your Orders list and assign them all at once.
