Uninstalling Notch and your data

What Notch stores

• Your field settings: each field's name, type, options and position, and whether it adds order tags.

• For each change to a field on an order: the order ID and order number, the field, the value entered, the time and the name of the staff member who made the change.

Uninstall Notch

1. In your Shopify admin, go to Settings > Apps.

2. Find Notch: Order Fields, open the menu next to it and click Uninstall.

What happens to your data

Notch loses access to your store as soon as you uninstall. Shopify then notifies us 48 hours later, and we delete all of your store's Notch data. This can't be undone, so if you reinstall later you'll start again from scratch.

Notch doesn't read customer details from Shopify. Field values are whatever your staff type in, so avoid putting customers' personal details in fields unless you need them. Tags that Notch has already added stay on your orders, because they're part of your Shopify order data. You can remove them from the Orders list if you no longer need them.
