Uninstalling Handoff and your data

What Handoff stores

• Your team list: each person's name and email address, whether they joined by opening the app or were added by hand.

• For each assignment: the order ID and order number, who it was assigned to, the time and the name of the person who made the change.

Uninstall Handoff

1. In your Shopify admin, go to Settings > Apps.

2. Find Handoff: Order Assignment, open the menu next to it and click Uninstall.

What happens to your data

Handoff loses access to your store as soon as you uninstall. Shopify then notifies us 48 hours later, and we delete all of your store's Handoff data. This can't be undone, so if you reinstall later you'll start again from scratch.

Handoff doesn't read or store any customer details. Tags that Handoff has already added stay on your orders, because they're part of your Shopify order data. You can remove them from the Orders list if you no longer need them.
